On April 3-5, 2012 the 1^st Berehynia korovai festival was held within the frames of Bakery and Confectionery Industry exhibition. The professionals of bakery and confectionery industry, as well as visitors, sector associations and mass media admitted the topicality and level of the event, highly appreciating the korovais, submitted for the contest by the festival participants, skills and fantasy of the bakers, together with the priceless benefit of the masterclasses in korovai decoration, communication and experience exchange between the specialists.

The future of bakery industry of Ukraine lies in total implementation of modern quality control systems, like ISO and HASP, at the enterprise. This conclusion was made by the participants of Bakery Market of Ukraine conference, held within the frames of the International Forum of Food Industry and Packaging IFFIP 2012.

On April, 4 at Bakery&Confectionery Industry exhibition, the masterclass was held by the technologists of Lesaffre Ukraine. The topic of the masterclass was “New possibilities and interesting solutions for sandwiches range widening”.
